Mastodon zapowiadają nowy album kompilacyjny, który promuje singiel Fallen Torches. Na płycie znajdzie się łącznie 16 utworów, w tym instrumentale, covery i wersje live. Krążek Medium Rarities ukaże sie 11 września. Ostatnim albumem Mastodon było wydawnictwo Emperor of Sand z 2017 roku. W tym samym roku zespół wydał swoją EPkę Cold Dark Place. Przypomnijmy także, że zeszłym roku zespół świętował 10. rocznicę wydania albumu Crack the Skye ukoronowaną trasą koncertową.
